Summary of the position:
Assistant trainer will responsible for planning, preparing and delivering the courses to the students to ensure that the learning objectives are met.
Principal Responsibilities: · Facilitate Classes as per the defined methodology and curriculum
- Facilitate inter and intrapersonal skills classes
- Mentor trainees through their learning process
- Create interesting and relevant lesson plans according to the prescribed framework
- Follow the MIS systems and report on the progress of trainees and the center
Job specifications:
Ability to work with participative methodologies
- Excellent English language communication skills - written and spoken
- Excellent IT skills
- Excellent communication and marketing skills
- Desire and ability to connect with young people
- Self-motivation with a passion for continuous improvement
- Understanding of the skill requirements for an entry level job in the service sector
- Empathy and a desire to help and work with young people from marginalized communities
- Passion for training and facilitation A background in training is not essential
Competencies (Minimum qualification):
- Graduate/Post Graduate/Diploma in related domains, a real desire to work with the under-served and a positive can-do attitude.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the related field.
- Should be able to connect with the students.
- Should be student centric.
- Good communication skills and fluent in the local language.
- Confident in delivering the training by method of activities.
- Highly performance oriented/ target oriented.
- Excellent team player, with the ability works in a collaborative and consultative manner.
- Innovative, Assertive & persistent.
- Assumes responsibility and accountability for performance.
