Summary of the Position:

Assistant trainer will responsible for planning, preparing and delivering the courses to the students to ensure that the learning objectives are met.

Principal Responsibilities:

·         Facilitate Classes as per the defined methodology and curriculum

• Facilitate inter and intrapersonal skills classes
• Mentor trainees through their learning process
• Create interesting and relevant lesson plans according to the prescribed framework
• Follow the MIS systems and report on the progress of trainees and the center

Job specifications:

Ability to work with participative methodologies

• Excellent English language communication skills - written and spoken

•   Excellent IT skills

•  Excellent communication and marketing skills

•  Desire and ability to connect with young people

•  Self-motivation with a passion for continuous improvement

•  Understanding of the skill requirements for an entry level job in the service sector

•  Empathy and a desire to help and work with young people from marginalized communities

•  Passion for training and facilitation A background in training is not essential

Competencies (Minimum qualification):

•  Graduate/Post Graduate/Diploma in related domains, a real desire to work with the under-served and a positive can-do attitude.

•  Minimum 2 years of experience in the related field.

•  Should be able to connect with the students.

•  Should be student centric.

•  Good communication skills and fluent in the local language.

•  Confident in delivering the training by method of activities.

•  Highly performance oriented/ target oriented.

•  Excellent team player, with the ability works in a collaborative and consultative manner.

•  Innovative, Assertive & persistent.

•  Assumes responsibility and accountability for performance.
